Speaking Skill Building Activity - Social Conversations
Instructions: Follow the outline below and practice a short conversation with a partner about the two topics. This means you will have two separate conversations.
1. Greet your speaking partner using phrases learned in class. (EX. Hi! How's it going?)
2. Introduce yourself to the other speaker for any new situation. (EX. My name is _____.)
3. Ask one or two small talk questions that are related to the topic below. Make sure to answer your partner's questions as well.
4. Use a polite closing to end the conversation. (EX. It was nice talking to you! Bye!)
